Your journey starts

From online application to the first welcome — we keep our application process simple and transparent. So that you know exactly how your trip to us is going, we have compiled all the important information for you here.

Depending on the area and location, the steps may also vary. This may mean that we individually adjust the application process in the individual steps in order to be able to respond optimally to you and the position.

Your application

You can contact us via our job postings or by email to jobs@generic.de apply. To make things as easy as possible for you, your resume is sufficient for now.

As soon as we have received your application documents, we will review and review them. If your application convinces us, we invite you to get to know each other personally.

Personal acquaintance

You will have your first appointment with our HR team. In doing so, we would like to get to know you better as a person and learn more about you. The same is true vice versa, of course, because you too should get to know us. After that, you'll also know a bit better who we are and what makes us tick.

Getting to know the subject

Did getting to know each other for the first time convince us? Now you're showing us that we're on the same page professionally. To do this, we will talk to an expert from your field during a second meeting.

As a software developer, you take part in a coding dojo to get to know the subject: You get an assignment and write your own code. We then do a code review together.

Get to know the team

In addition to professional exchange, we always try to arrange a meeting with your future team. Because here too, it is important to us that it harmonizes. Should you not have the opportunity to do so, you can still be sure that we have already identified a positive match in previous discussions.

Welcome aboard!

We're both convinced and said yes? That's when the first step in the onboarding process begins: You will receive your individual contract offer from us. Once all signatures have been dried, you are an official part of the team and we are happy to have you on board!

Welcome to the team

Even before your start date, you will receive further information and an overview of your first days with us. For a perfect start in the team, we have prepared a few appointments for you so that you are fully involved and can get started right away.

mentorship

It is very important to us that you feel right at home with us from day 1. A central point of contact is of course worth its weight in gold. That's why we'll provide you with a mentor. No matter what questions or concerns you have, our mentors are always ready to listen to you and will help you.

Your first few weeks: time to arrive

Before you can really get started, you have to get to know everything first. And that is exactly what your first few weeks are reserved for. You'll learn everything about the company, our customers and our projects. We'll show you how we work, introduce you to your central contact person and explain your Continuing education opportunities about generic.de Academy. Of course, you will also be introduced to our system infrastructure and information platforms.

Feedback, feedback, feedback

Openness and transparency are important values at generic.de. Through regular informal feedback meetings between you and your mentor or the HR team, we would like to give you the opportunity to communicate and exchange ideas with us. Of course, such scheduled talks are only a rough framework. You can come to us anytime and talk to us about anything.

All in all, I had a professional and transparent application process, even without long waiting times.
