November 5, 2025, Stuttgart. generic.de software technologies AG and IMS Verbindungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG were presented with this year's Allianz Industry 4.0 Award Baden-Württemberg for their joint development of the SaaS platform “Digital Inventory Services (DIS)”. The solution was shaped by the Würth Additive Group’s vision and leadership, whose tenured digital manufacturing specialists and industrial distribution experts —defined how digital manufacturing could transform inventory distribution and industrial supply chains quality. The award ceremony took place on 5 November at the SpardaWelt Eventcenter in Stuttgart.
Digital Inventory Services (DIS) connects digital design with physical production to make qualified parts available on demand—securely, reliably, and anywhere they’re needed.
